Variorum Gin is a pink berry edition of the original King of Soho London Dry Gin which was created by West End Drinks, owned by Alex Robson and Howard Raymond. The style was inspired by Raymond's father, Soho theatre impresario and businessman Paul Raymond. Its name was taken from the literary term, 'variorum edition', which refers to an original work with notes.
The notes here are a lower ABV, 37.5%, and the addition of natural strawberry flavours. Variorum Gin should appeal to the huge number of people who love pink gin, whether its over ice or in cocktails and mixed drinks.
